Areas of Use and Features
It is used for joining high-strength unalloyed and alloyed steels, armor steels, 14% Mn steels, ferritic chromium steels, heat-resistant steels, and non-magnetic steels. It is also suitable for cladding applications that require resistance to corrosion, wear, and cavitation, such as in turbines and valves.
As shielding gas:
– Use Argon for TIG welding
– Use Ar + 2.5% O₂ or Ar + 2.5% CO₂ for MIG welding.
